The latest project by Javier Plascencia to hit Mexico's wine country, Valle de Guadalupe is Finca La Divina. A former property that the Chef used as a place for R&R during the developing stages of his well known restaurant, Finca Altozano, is now opening up to the public as a quaint Bed & Breakfast. The beautiful property with its exterior architecture reflecting Mexican Colonial and Californian design is located in San Antonio de las Minas, with easy access from the main road. It's also conveniently located on the same road as Hugo d' Acosta's Casa de Piedra, which boasts some delightful local Valle wines.

The interiors, lead by Joly Lacarra of Creativo 256, are open and airy, with neutral and inviting warm colors. A mix of traditional and modern Mexican styles flow throughout the house, creating the perfect harmony with the rustic wine country setting outdoors. Finca la Divina has three rooms, each with their own bathrooms, a stunning fully equipped kitchen, and features a communal living area, with dining space, a bar, and ample seating. As you take a walk outside of the patio doors, you are greeted with a pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor dining table, which is ideal for sharing a meal al fresco over great conversation and bottles of local wine.

This is a wonderful place to stay and relax all the while soaking up the natural and rustic settings that surround the property. Ricardo Alvarez Cruz of RAC Design, who is responsible for branding states, “We want guests to find it hard to leave Finca La Divina, to fall in love with it. La Divina is set amongst nature with 5 star amenities.”

Future plans for this B&B include its expansion into a boutique hotel, that will be built out on the upper part of pool area, and feature lovely expansive views of the Valle.
