What To Do: A delicious weekend in Tijuana and Valle de Guadalupe during the 8th Annual Baja Culinary Fest

Baja’s wine, craft beer, land and sea bounty, and culinary creatives will be celebrated during the Baja Culinary Fest with a series of events spread out from October 18th-20th, 2018 in Tijuana and Valle de Guadalupe.

Now in its 8th edition, the Baja Culinary Fest is an influential occasion to the region’s culinary movement. With the pursuit to push for a world-renowned destination, the BCF is produced by local chefs, vendors and bajacalifornianos.

The festival will kick-off on Thursday, October 18 with Berry Good Noche dinner in Valle de Guadalupe at Troika inside La Villa del Valle’s grounds. A meal under the stars with Javier Plascencia, Diego Hernandez, Flor Franco, Elsa Olmos, David Castro Hussong, Tomás Bermudez, Ryan Costanza, Maribel Aldaco and Davin Waite. Reservations are available here, with options for round-trip transportation from San Diego. Passes include aperitifs, a garden tour, Baja wine pairings, and a six-course meal. 100% of the proceeds will benefit local Baja schools for building gardens.

On Saturday, October 20th Club Campestre’s golf course will host a Culinary Summit where you will be able to taste sample regional wine and craft beers and pair up with 20 bites from culinary visionaries from both Californias. Passes to the summit are available here.
