Spring time is here, and that calls for days full of sunshine, and fresh air. Grab your friends and family, and head out and explore the local events happening in Baja over the next couple of months.
Brunch arrives to Estación Federal (Tijuana)
Every Saturday + Sunday | Starts at 11:00 AM
Starting Saturday April 27th Tijuana’s Estación Federal will begin serving brunch (family and pet friendly atmosphere). Start with a cup of coffee at Nativo, then head to Kokopelli for seafood grilled tacos and pizzas at Giani’s. Pair it with a specialty cocktail or Baja beer at Cereus, the city’s hottest bar.
Bazar Lechuza Vol. 4 (Valle de Guadalupe)

Lechuza Vineyard is hosting their fourth edition of ‘Bazar Lechuza’. Get a chance to see and purchase crafted goods by local talents and artisans. Your ticket ($250 MXN pesos) includes 2 wine tasting pours + a dish from the property’s food truck lead by Laja’s chef Rafa Magaña. Nómada Bar Movil, a mobile craft cocktail service will also be pouring specialty beverages.
Festival de Las Conchas y El Vino Nuevo (Ensenada)
April 29 - May 5
A whirlwind of seafood studded events featuring the gorgeous local regional cuisine. Spend the afternoon on May 5, at Hotel Coral and Marina in Ensenada, indulging in creations from some of Baja’s top chefs, and restaurants, for the grand tasting event (tickets). Make sure that your wine glass is always full, while tasting the newest wines coming out of the region.
Expo Cerveza Artesanal (Tijuana)
June 7-8 | Starts at 2:00 PM
For all of the beer lovers out there, this is your event. With more than 60 local and international brewers all under one roof, this is the time to taste some suds, and grab some eats from the plethora of booths at this annual event. The event takes place in Playas de Tijuana’s Plaza Monumental.
Fiesta de los Viñedos en Flor (Valle de Guadalupe)
Saturday, June 15
Fiesta de los Viñedos en Flor benefits the San Vicente Shelter in Ensenada. The Mercadito Campestre will feature an abundance of goods from local talents and artisans. There will be cuisine from the region, as well as over 120 different wines to try. It’s also a great family friendly event that will include kites, tractor rides through the vineyards, and art workshops for the kids.
