The sun soaked days that turn into warm nights, are one of my favorite parts of summer. The high season in the Valle de Guadalupe, greets you with balmy wine tinged air, and a yearning for enjoying the fruits of the land. Popular amongst the younger generation of Oenophiles, Decantos Vinícola is rolling out their second edition of their wine boot event.

Traditionally used in Spain to store and drink wine, Decantos is bringing this unique experience to Baja’s Valle de Guadalupe.

Your ticket to the event will include your own wine boot filled with one liter of the winery’s Nebbiolo, as well as bites being served up by some of the region’s top chefs like:

  • Javier Plasencia - Erizo & Lupe
  • Drew Deckman - Conchas de Piedra
  • Benito Molina & Solange - Manzanilla
  • Roberto Alcocer - Malva
  • Omar Armas - Mantou
  • Angelo Dal Bon - Tre Galline

One of Mexico’s top craft breweries, Wendlandt, will also be present pouring their incredible Baja craft brews.

Save the date for July 22nd, and in the mean time plan out your favorite white outfit, and perhaps even brush up on your boot wine pouring skills. This could get messy folks.

The evening will also feature music from Orquesta Filarmonía Baja California, and a special guest performing a tribute to The Beatles.
