First Look: Pastry Chef Denisse Zamudio opens shop in Tijuana's La Cacho
Tijuana’s Pastry Chef Denisse Zamudio is prepping to open her brick-and-mortar patisserie in Tijuana’s La Cacho along with her partner Adriana Peralta. To celebrate all things sweet and love, Zamudio invited us to her new storefront— Patiseria Denisse Zamudio, slated to open to the public at the end of February 2020.
It all started in the Instituto Culinario de México (Puebla), then Le Cordon Bleu in Las Vegas, where Zamudio began to form her career. Later, she formed part of Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio in Las Vegas and Mister A’s in Downtown San Diego, which led to her successful catering business for some of Baja’s most prestigious events.
The tijuanense’s french inspired shop will feature her signature macaroons, eclairs, and cakes. There will be the option to order ahead for detailed requests, grab-and-go options, or sit back and enjoy your delicacy. The eye-catching pastry boutique is something you’d find strolling along the streets of Paris in search of your sweet fix. A cascading floral arrangement in the front embellishes Colombia street.

Bonus: Patiseria Denisse Zamudio will open this Friday, February 14 (Valentine’s Day) from 10-6 PM for a special one-day sale.
