Casa Marieta: A hidden gem in Valle de Guadalupe

Valle de Guadalupe during the fall and winter season is probably our favorite time of year to enjoy the region in all its splendor. All is calm, hard to get reservations are a breeze to catch, and winemakers + chefs are also on site most of the time. While researching a new spot to stay, for a wedding weekend trip, we discovered Casa Marieta in San Antonio de Las Minas. A small and quaint apartment that we just felt the need to share with you.

Located within a 10 minute drive from Carretera 3, Casa Marieta is located in a quiet and tranquil part of San Antonio de Las Minas (a neighborhood within Valle de Guadalupe region). It was just the two of us during the stay, but it easily accommodates up to two more guests. The apartment is two stories, with a full kitchen, dining area, and ample seating area on the first floor that makes you feel right at home. Up the stairs there is a lounge area that leads into the bedroom, furnished with two queen beds, and a bathroom. The furnishings are cozy, and the view from every window is so serene. Waking up in the morning to the sounds of birds chirping, scents of nearby lavender, and the gorgeous nature surrounding you is just perfect.
